There are always a lot of priorities when you are making trip plans. That can entail looking for a location with lots of sunlight. Or even a family-friendly location. Or perhaps you want a vacation with lots of history and culture.

How welcoming a place is to tourists is another another aspect to think about that could be disregarded. Or more especially, how simple is it for visitors from abroad to visit the place.

When viewed through this prism, about 21 nations jump to the top of the heap and tie for the top spot on the Passport Index rating as “the most welcoming countries” in the entire world.

Angola, Bolivia, Burundi, Cambodia, Comoros, Cote D’Ivoire, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Malawi, the Maldives, Micronesia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Timor-Leste, and Tuvalu are in the top 21.
