This year’s spring break travel period is poised to be a busy one, based on the latest projections. We created a list of destinations from TikTok and weather statistics
1. Houston, Texas
Houston tops the list this year with a record-breaking 4.8 billion TikTok views across the country. The Texas city is fueled by a springtime average temperature of 78.9 degrees and a diverse selection of museums, shopping, parks, and restaurants. Also, it takes less than an hour for guests to arrive at Galveston Island’s beaches.
2. Austin, Texas
With 2.3 billion TikTok views in spring, the capital of Texas surpasses the capital of the United States. Although Austin, which takes pleasure in keeping things strange, is no longer the underrated city it once was, that doesn’t mean it isn’t a top destination for spring break.
3. Washington, DC
The iconic cherry blossoms and famous landmarks are the main attractions. As the temperature rises, tourists can stroll down the National Mall for free and tour the Smithsonian Institution, the biggest museum, education, and research complex in the world.
4. Orlando, Florida
Orlando is a classic spring break location that attracts families with children of all ages. When it comes to fun and entertainment, the Theme Park Capital of the World is unrivalled. Because to the pleasant springtime weather, tourists can spend a lot of time outdoors enjoying the city and navigating Central Florida’s numerous theme parks.
5. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
One of only two states with multiple travel destinations is South Carolina. Myrtle Beach, a coastal paradise featuring dozens of miles of sandy beaches, a variety of world-class golf courses, and a myriad of family-friendly attractions, can be found a little more than two hours northeast of Charleston. With 1.5 billion TikTok views, it is easily among the top five, but three times less popular than the top spot.
